Doctor's appointment
Follow up day to the pediatrician. It has been six days since Gerald had the G-tube placed. He looks really good, but he still in pain every time we attach the extension tube to his g-tube. He screams and hold his breath. It make my heart ache every time I see him in pain. So today, we had a follow-up with his pediatrician, and I asked him why he still in pain very time we attach the g-tube extension. The doctor checked it and even slightly put pressure on GJ's stomach. He said the pain is from his mind not the site of g-tube. He also said that the site was look good.

hi neldz, lumalaki na kasi siya eh siguro naiisip niya na ayan na naman hayy... masasanay din siguro si Gerald sa tube, hanggang kelan ba siya naka tube?
ReplyDeleteHindi ko te alam kunghanggang kailan siya sa tube feed. Hindi siya marunong lumunok or ngumuya ng pagkain yun po ang problema. Para pong ayaw niya na ilagay ang pagkain sa bibig niya. Kaya te..I have no idea how long his going to be sa tube feed. Salamt po te
